About EYTT
Empowering Youth Through Travel (EYTT), NFP serves at-risk, urban teens with the opportunity to travel abroad. Participants chosen for the program will attend a six-month after school program where they will learn in depth about the given country we will travel to. The EYTT Supplemental Learning Experience (SLE), is comprised of lesson plans which deliver hands-on, interactive, and creative activities developed by some of Chicago’s most innovative and forward-thinking educators. Self-discovery and individual growth will continue overseas where these students will explore our world, and continue their education with a real life application of the Empowering Youth Through Travel, Supplemental Learning Experience.

You are right, too many kids never have the chance to go outside of their communities, let alone travel the world.
